Merchandising Support Administrator


Pharmaca is actively hiring for a Merchandising Support Administrator to oversee the life cycle of order processing, manage store product and maintain vendor relationships. This position is responsible for vendor forecasting, promotional forecasting to the stores and DC, as well as creating quarterly top item movement reports. The MSA is the link between Category Managers and Data Integrity Manager.

 

This full-time, junior position works at our dog-friendly Home Office in Boulder, Colorado and is ideal for interested in learning the ins-and-outs of product and inventory management.

 

Essential Responsibilities


-Managing the PO/transfer process from start to finish. Following up and resolving all PO issues

-Owning the vendor account set-up process and getting turned on for DC sourcing

-Preparing monthly promo and new item forecasts

-Creating forecasts for special events, promos and ad hoc requests

-Managing quarterly top item by store movement reports

-Coordinating and processing all item maintenance transactions and interactions daily w/ Category Managers, vendors, Promo Coordinator and Pricing Coordinator

-Cooperating with all necessary support groups on assigned projects, including Finance, Marketing Ops, PR, IT and e-Commerce

-Spearheading communication and cooperative process across departments to assist the Merch Team in delivering products and programs on time and on budget

-Ensuring compliance with general business rules and contract requirements as specified

 

 

Our Ideal Candidate

 

-1+ years' related experience in merchandising, supply-chain logistics and inventory management

-Mastery of all Office platforms including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

-Is a self-starting, accountable and organized multitasker

-Possesses pro-active critical thinking skills and the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations and solutions

-Is a team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross-functional teams

-Is highly detail-oriented with unprompted follow-through
