This role is great opportunity for a loss prevention specialist with exceptional customer service skills who love spending their days interacting with our customers and the public.

In this position, you will:

  • Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude
  • Answer customer questions and help them with their needs
  • Observe the retail environment, confront shop lifters, protect people and assets
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and establish a positive relationship with customers and team members
  • Be available to assist associates across the store as needed
  • Interact with store personnel and store customers when dishonestly or carelessness occurs 
  • Take an active role in identifying all forms of loss, motivating shortage control involvement and helping to identify and recommend creative shortage control solutions
  • Heighten store loss prevention awareness
  • Respond to and provide back up in relation to emergency response situations

Our ideal applicants will have:

  • Education/Experience:  High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Communication Skills:  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Reasoning Ability:  Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team and must have good time management skills
  • Physical Demands:  This position involves constant moving and standing.  Involves standing for consecutive hours.  Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.  May occasionally involve reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.  May involve reaching above eye level. Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Ability to think and act clearly in possible stressful and confrontational situations
  • Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team.  Must possess a strong sense of urgency
  • Work Hours:  Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years' experience in a customer service role; hospitality industry or related field with responsibility for loss prevention considered a strong asset
